Promoting a global hospitality event through the eyes of world famous bartenders.

7 Days, 16 Live Events, 8 Creators and 4 RayBan Stories

Diageo World Class hosted the 13th edition of its global bartending competition finals in Sydney in September 2022. For the first time ever, the event also featured a week-long World Class Cocktail Festival, celebrating the best of Sydney’s cocktail culture.

The objective of the campaign was to support the live event by providing Creators and Bartenders with RayBan Stories glasses to capture content from unique perspectives. To drive consideration of Diageo’s group of brands and products, and awareness of the World Class events.

Live events from multiple perspectives in real-time

We provided Creators, bartenders and competition judges with the RayBan Stories glasses to capture content from different perspectives.

Using the hands-free cameras, bartenders were able to capture content whilst making their cocktail creations seamlessly.

Whilst judges and creators were able to capture the bartenders without creating a barrier between the real-life experience.

The Creators edited their content and posted in real-time on feed, stories and reels as Branded Content. The speed of production meant that those not attending the event could still be part of the action.
